Mid Century Modern Garden

Looking out across Minneapolis, this classic mid-twentieth century house offered an unrealized potential for a garden.

Designed as a seamless whole, the garden and white granite terrace expand the living room with long views and connecting glass doors. Looking like it has always been there, the rear terrace is designed with a slightly lifted edge that is lit from below and appears to float at night.

Now looking out walls of the glass from the entry and dining rooms, our clients and their guests are part of the interior court with its fountain by artist Thomas Rose.
